About the Role:
As a Sales Director reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, you will play a crucial role in driving lead generation and sales for the agency and its associated agencies. The agency is set for substantial growth in 2024, and they are looking for a dynamic Sales Director to help them seize new opportunities and expand their business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage an effective sales pipeline through proactive lead prospecting and generation activities.
- Implement outbound campaigns to identify and qualify new business opportunities targeting our Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs).
- Conduct initial meetings with potential clients to articulate our agency’s value proposition and address their needs.
- Create customized sales presentations and proposals.
- Engage with C-level executives and key decision-makers to understand their business challenges and manage complex sales cycles.
- Gather insights from customer interactions to refine our marketing and sales strategies.
- Work closely with the CGO and Marketing Director to ensure alignment between marketing and sales initiatives.
- Convert leads generated from marketing activities into tangible business opportunities.
- Maintain regular contact with industry leaders within our ICP.
- Leverage the Leadership Team’s network to uncover potential opportunities.
- Oversee and guide lead generation agencies working with the agency.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities within the agency's parent company.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in direct sales, preferably within the Martech sector.
- Deep understanding of the C-suite, especially the CMO role.
- A natural storyteller with the ability to inspire and persuade.
- High level of autonomy in executing lead generation activities and managing sales cycles.
- Proficient in consultative selling techniques and familiar with various sales methodologies.
- Adaptable and responsive to market feedback and changing customer needs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Skilled in using CRM systems for lead management, pipeline tracking, and reporting.
Salary: up to £85k
