JOB DESCRIPTION
Fully Remote | Competitive Base + Uncapped Commission
An international events business is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join its growing commercial team. This is an opportunity to sell sponsorship solutions across a portfolio of established B2B conferences, working with senior decision-makers from leading global organisations.
This role is heavily focused on new business and is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, closing high-value commercial partnerships, and being rewarded for performance. With a clear progression path and an excellent commission structure, it's a great opportunity for an ambitious sponsorship sales professional looking to take the next step.
The Role
- Drive new business sponsorship revenue across a portfolio of B2B events
- Identify and engage prospective sponsors through proactive outreach
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Develop tailored sponsorship proposals and negotiate commercial agreements
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline using CRM systems
- Consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets
- At least 3 years' sponsorship sales experience within conferences, exhibitions or events
- Proven track record of delivering against and exceeding sales targets
- Experience selling to senior corporate stakeholders at Director level and above
- Confident managing the full sales cycle independently
- Commercially driven with a proactive approach to winning new business
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Competitive base salary with uncapped commission
