Senior Project Manager – Global Events
Salary: £70,000 – £86,000 DOE
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days remote)

Are you an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in event operations, who thrives on bringing teams together and ensuring the successful delivery of multiple events?

DNA Recruit is working with a leading global organisation within the B2B events and business intelligence sector to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager – Events.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has worked within either an events agency or an in-house events environment, managing complex event portfolios and driving successful delivery across multiple teams.

Our client is looking for someone who can take ownership, bring structure and consistency to event delivery, and ensure that everyone involved is aligned, accountable and working towards the same goals.

The Role

As Senior Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of a global portfolio of 30+ events annually.
Working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including Event Production, Operations, Marketing, Sponsorship and Sales, you'll be the person who brings everything together.
While you'll remain involved in the event delivery process, your primary focus will be on the bigger picture – ensuring timelines are met, potential challenges are identified early, and teams have everything they need to deliver successful events.
This is a highly collaborative and influential position, requiring someone who is confident working with senior stakeholders, driving accountability and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the successful delivery of a global portfolio of 30+ events annually.
• Take ownership of project timelines, milestones and deliverables across multiple events.
• Bring together cross-functional teams, including Production, Operations, Marketing, Sponsorship and Sales, ensuring everyone is aligned.
• Drive accountability across departments, proactively identifying and resolving potential delays or challenges.
• Develop and maintain project management tools, trackers, reporting dashboards and risk registers.
• Work closely with event operations and production teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Provide regular progress updates and reporting to senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies and ways of working across the events portfolio.
• Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring consistently high standards of delivery.

We're looking for a confident, organised and commercially aware Senior Project Manager who understands the complexities of delivering events at scale.

You'll ideally bring:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in senior event project management, with a strong event operations background.
• Proven experience taking the lead on complex events and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience overseeing a substantial portfolio of events, ideally 30+ annually.
• A background within an events agency, in-house events team or established conference/events organiser.
• Strong experience coordinating multiple departments and managing cross-functional deliverables.

Previous experience implementing or improving project management processes would be particularly advantageous. This is an exciting opportunity to part of a Global company and make the role your own.
