London Victoria | Hybrid (3 days in office)
We’re partnering with a globally recognised B2B events organisation to hire a Senior Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy for one of the world’s most influential technology festivals, London Tech Week.
This is a high-profile, commercially critical role within a portfolio that also includes globally respected brands such as Cannes Lions, Black Hat and Money20/20. The business sits within a major international events group and delivers large-scale, content-led experiences for senior technology leaders, startups, investors, enterprise organisations and government stakeholders.
As Senior Marketing Manager, you’ll own the end-to-end marketing strategy for a flagship global tech festival. This is a strategic and operational leadership position with responsibility for brand growth, audience acquisition, sponsor visibility and commercial performance.
You’ll also have direct line management responsibility, leading and developing marketing talent while working cross-functionally with sales, content, production, partnerships and senior leadership.
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive multi-channel marketing strategy to drive attendance, sponsorship engagement and market positioning
- Align marketing objectives with wider commercial and revenue goals
- Own and manage a £300K marketing budget with clear ROI accountability
- Lead and mentor direct reports, providing structure, direction and performance management
Campaign Delivery
- Build and execute integrated B2B campaigns targeting technology professionals, founders, investors, corporates and public sector stakeholders
- Oversee digital strategy across SEO, SEM, paid media, social, email and automation
- Drive content-led marketing including thought leadership, speaker amplification and industry insight positioning
- Manage PR and media activity to secure high-impact coverage
Partnership & Stakeholder Marketing
- Develop sponsor activation marketing plans and co-marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with strategic partners, agencies and suppliers
- Support city-wide and ecosystem marketing activity in partnership with venues and key stakeholders
Performance & Analytics
- Define KPIs and reporting frameworks across the full funnel
- Analyse conversion, engagement and revenue performance
- Deliver data-led optimisation and senior stakeholder reporting
What We’re Looking For:
- 7 years’ marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a senior-level role
- Proven event marketing experience, ideally within large-scale B2B technology or business environments
- Experience managing significant budgets and multi-channel campaigns
- Strong B2B technology sector exposure
- Hands-on expertise with marketing automation platforms (e.g. HubSpot or Marketo), analytics tools and paid digital platforms
- Demonstrable line management experience, including coaching and developing team members
You’ll be commercially minded, strategically strong and confident operating at senior stakeholder level. This role requires someone comfortable balancing brand positioning, data-driven acquisition strategy and commercial outcomes.
An interest in emerging technologies such as AI, fintech, blockchain and the wider innovation ecosystem would be advantageous.
