Senior Copywriter

We’re working with a leading healthcare communications agency to help them find a Senior Copywriter with experience writing for payer and access audiences. This is a full-time role offering the chance to craft strategic, insight-led content across multiple pharmaceutical brands - with a focus on delivering high-quality, clinically accurate messaging that supports value and access initiatives.

Candidates must be based in the Tri-State area (NYC, NJ, or local PA).

This is a hands-on, high-impact copy role where you’ll:

• Develop and edit compelling, accurate copy for payer-focused campaigns across a variety of therapeutic areas
• Translate complex clinical data into clear, compliant messaging
• Participate in brainstorming and strategic development sessions
• Collaborate closely with account and strategy teams to support client objectives
• Lead independent research to inform messaging, tone, and content development
• Attend and contribute to client meetings and MLR reviews
• Ensure consistent brand voice and style across all deliverables
• Help build and maintain reference libraries and ensure proper documentation

Requirements:

• 3–4+ years of pharma agency copywriting experience, ideally with payer or market access focus
• Strong grasp of clinical data and experience defending claims in MLR settings
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Ability to think both strategically and creatively
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skill
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Strong verbal communication and presentation abilities
