JOB DESCRIPTION
Fully Remote | £45,000 – £65,000 + Commission
An international events and conferences business is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join its growing commercial team. This is a fully remote position with strong earning potential, a clear progression path, and the opportunity to work on high-profile B2B events with senior corporate decision-makers worldwide.
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business sponsorship sales across a portfolio of events. This is a new business–focused role, ideal for someone with a strong track record of closing deals in the events and conferences space. Depending on seniority, you may be supported by an SDR team for lead generation or be responsible for managing your own outreach.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving new business through lead generation, cold calling, and pitching
- Building relationships with senior corporate directors and decision-makers
- Structuring and closing high-value sponsorship deals
- Managing your pipeline via modern CRM and sales tools
- Hitting and exceeding revenue targets
- Minimum 3 years’ proven success in sponsorship sales within conferences, exhibitions, or events
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- B2B sales experience engaging at director level or above
- Entrepreneurial, results-driven, and motivated by uncapped earning potential
- Confident in handling the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- No SaaS/software-only sales backgrounds, delegate sales, or pure account management candidates
- Competitive base salary plus an excellent commission structure
