Paid Media Specialist

An international business events and media organisation is looking for a Paid Media Specialist to join its centralised digital marketing team. The business produces globally recognised festivals and industry events across technology, finance, cybersecurity, gaming, and marketing, and is part of a large FTSE-listed international group.

This role will sit within a central digital function responsible for delivering high-performing paid media campaigns across a portfolio of global brands and events. It’s an opportunity to work on large-scale marketing campaigns with meaningful budgets while developing advanced performance marketing skills in a collaborative and fast-growing team.

The Role

You will manage and optimise paid media campaigns across multiple digital channels, supporting event and brand marketing teams to drive registrations, awareness, and engagement.

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan, launch, and optimise paid media campaigns across Search, Social, and Display channels

  • Manage campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook/Meta, and programmatic display

  • Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and campaign setup to maximise performance

  • Monitor campaign performance and optimise budgets to achieve strong ROI

  • Analyse campaign data and produce insights and recommendations for marketing teams

  • Identify growth opportunities and test new strategies to improve performance

  • Collaborate with wider digital and brand marketing teams on integrated marketing activity

  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in performance marketing

About You

  • Experience managing paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and paid social

  • Strong understanding of campaign setup, optimisation, and performance tracking

  • Experience with keyword research, audience targeting, and budget management

  • Comfortable analysing campaign performance and making data-driven recommendations

  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Excel, and Google Workspace

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate data into clear insights

  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail

  • Curious, proactive, and keen to continuously improve campaign performance

The Opportunity

You will join a collaborative central marketing team working across a portfolio of global brands and events. The role offers strong development opportunities, exposure to large-scale digital campaigns, and the chance to work closely with senior performance marketing specialists.

Location

London – hybrid working, with three days per week in the office.
