Packaging Artworker

Exciting opportunity for a Packaging Designer / Artworker

The role focuses on the design and production of packaging and printed materials across a range of products and international markets.

The successful candidate will combine creative design skills with strong technical artwork capability, ensuring packaging and supporting materials are visually consistent, accurate, and production-ready.

Working closely with the design, copywriting, and technical teams, the role will support upcoming product launches and manage packaging versions across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and artwork packaging materials including packaging, POS, gift boxes, rating labels, instruction manuals, and trade show materials
  
  
• Prepare and deliver print-ready artwork files in line with factory and production specifications
  
  
• Manage the packaging artwork calendar, coordinating timelines with the wider design team for product launches
  
  
• Work closely with the copywriter and technical teams to gather accurate content, product specifications, and regulatory information
  
  
• Liaise with factories and suppliers regarding packaging production, materials, and sustainability considerations
  
  
• Manage multiple versions and localisations of packaging across markets including the UK, Europe, and South Africa
  
  
• Maintain high standards of quality control, accuracy, and brand consistency across all packaging outputs
  
  
• Support the design team with additional print and marketing materials where required
  
  

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in print design and production, ideally including live packaging design
  
  
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly:
  
  
  • Adobe Illustrator
    
    
  • Adobe InDesign
    
    
  • Adobe Photoshop
    
    
• Familiarity with Figma
  
  
• Strong organisation and a good eye for design
• Ability to manage multiple projects and packaging versions simultaneously
  
  
• Experience collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders
  
  
• A strong portfolio demonstrating both creative design ability and technical production skills
  
  

Desirable Experience

• Experience of packaging design, print and digital production 
• Working with international packaging localisation
• Understanding of sustainable packaging materials and production processes
• Experience liaising directly with factories or packaging manufacturers
