Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days per week in office)
A global events and information business is looking for a French-speaking Portfolio Manager to lead a well-established AI-focused event portfolio across Europe. This role will take ownership of major flagship events in London and France while also driving the development of new digital products and community initiatives within the AI sector.
This is a highly visible position within a fast-paced commercial events environment, suited to someone who enjoys combining event leadership, content development, and commercial strategy while working closely with cross-functional teams.
The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, production, and delivery of two flagship AI industry events in Europe, ensuring a high-quality experience for both attendees and commercial partners. Alongside event delivery, the role will focus on expanding the portfolio through new event launches, innovative digital content, and the development of a global ambassador community.
The role also includes managing and mentoring a Senior Conference Producer and working closely with internal teams across sales, marketing, and operations to ensure strong commercial and audience outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of flagship AI industry events in London and France
- Identify and develop opportunities to launch new events and formats within the portfolio
- Create innovative content across conferences, webinars, roundtables, training programmes, and virtual products
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the AI sector
- Build strong relationships with speakers, sponsors, and industry stakeholders
- Line manage and mentor a Senior Conference Producer
- Collaborate with internal teams across sales, marketing, and operations to deliver portfolio growth Represent the portfolio at industry events and meetings internationally
Requirements
- Strong experience delivering large-scale commercial events across in-person, hybrid, or virtual formats
- Experience developing high-quality conference agendas and industry-led content
- Proven ability to manage relationships with sponsors, exhibitors, and advisory boards
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of event P&L and revenue growth
- Previous experience managing or mentoring team members
- Fluent French language skills are essential
- Willingness to travel internationally when required
