JOB DESCRIPTION
We’re working with an established, independent exhibition design and build company that creates high-quality modular and custom exhibition stands for clients across the UK and internationally. From initial design through to build, logistics and installation, they manage the complete journey from concept to show floor.
They’re now looking for an Exhibition Project Manager to take ownership of projects from design sign-off through to onsite delivery and post-show debrief. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with plenty of variety, combining project delivery, commercial management, supplier coordination and time onsite at exhibitions across the UK and overseas.
You’ll manage multiple exhibition projects simultaneously, working closely with clients, designers, production teams, suppliers and third-party contractors to make sure every stand is delivered smoothly, on time and within budget.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage exhibition projects from design sign-off through to installation and post-show debrief
- Deliver modular exhibition stands alongside simple custom-build projects
- Take ownership of project budgets, margins and P&L
- Prepare project costings and work with design, production and suppliers to optimise budgets without compromising quality or creative intent
- Coordinate third-party contractors and suppliers, managing timelines, quality and costs
- Act as the main client contact throughout the project lifecycle, leading meetings and building strong ongoing relationships
- Interpret artwork briefs and coordinate requirements between clients and designers
- Manage venue regulations, health & safety requirements, RAMS and wider compliance
- Oversee onsite installations and troubleshoot any challenges during delivery
- Identify opportunities to develop existing client accounts and support wider business development
- Travel throughout the UK and internationally when required for installations and project delivery
You’ll bring:
- Strong exhibition project management experience, particularly across modular stands
- Knowledge of exhibition regulations and compliance, including AEV eGuide standards
- Experience producing project costings for exhibition stands
- Strong commercial awareness, including budget, margin and P&L management
- Excellent client and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to juggle multiple live projects and changing priorities
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to challenges onsite and throughout production
- Experience with project management systems such as Monday.com or similar
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment and making decisions under pressure
- Flexibility to travel within the UK and internationally when projects require it
Alongside a salary of £35,000–£40,000 DOE, the package includes 25 days’ annual leave, hybrid/flexible working, a discretionary annual bonus, private healthcare, progressive maternity and paternity packages, company laptop and mobile, company socials and a central London office.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing exhibition business where you’ll have real ownership of projects, work directly with international clients and see your projects through from sign-off to the exhibition floor.
