JOB DESCRIPTION
An established international events business is looking for an experienced Delegate Sales Manager to join its commercial team, driving delegate attendance for a flagship B2B conference within the project controls sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive sales professional with experience selling delegates into conferences, exhibitions or live events. You'll play a key role in delivering delegate targets for a high-profile UK event, with the opportunity to support the development and delivery of a mini hosted buyer programme.
Working within a collaborative commercial team, you'll be responsible for identifying and engaging senior-level professionals, building relationships across the industry, and ensuring strong delegate attendance through outbound sales activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive delegate sales for a leading UK B2B conference through outbound calling, email campaigns and relationship building.
- Identify and engage senior decision-makers across the project controls and major projects sectors.
- Manage the full delegate sales cycle from prospecting through to registration.
- Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline using CRM systems and sales tools.
- Support the delivery of a mini hosted delegate programme, sourcing and qualifying attendees where required.
- Work closely with the wider commercial and marketing teams to maximise event attendance.
- Consistently achieve and exceed delegate revenue and attendance targets.
- Previous experience in delegate sales within conferences, exhibitions or B2B events.
- Strong outbound sales and business development skills.
- Confident engaging with senior-level professionals over the phone and via email.
- Highly organised with excellent pipeline management skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven and able to work independently.
- Experience with hosted buyer or VIP delegate programmes would be advantageous but is not essential.
