JOB DESCRIPTION
DNA Recruit are working with a digitally led, high-growth agency on a mission to scale their commercial function and bring in a highly motivated Business Development Representative.
This role is perfect for an experienced BDR who’s confident owning a revenue target and converting high-quality leads into long-term clients. With a newly restructured sales team, clear leadership vision, and a performance-driven culture, this is an opportunity to make a real commercial impact from day one.
Role Purpose
As a BDR, you’ll take full ownership of your pipeline, generating and converting outbound and inbound leads into qualified sales opportunities and revenue. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for a commercially savvy seller who can confidently pitch multi-service digital solutions to senior decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect daily using a blend of outreach methods — including cold calls, email, social selling, and event/network follow-up — to generate and convert qualified opportunities
- Research and map target accounts, identifying the right stakeholders and tailoring your approach to each business's specific needs and challenges
- Conduct effective, consultative discovery calls to understand client pain points and align needs with the agency’s digital solutions
- Pitch multi-service retainers and project-based solutions across SEO, Paid Media, Web Development, and Software, with deal sizes ranging from £5k/month to £100k+
- Maintain a consistent pipeline coverage within HubSpot to ensure healthy deal flow and forecasting accuracy
- Work closely with the wider Sales and Growth team to refine messaging, improve conversion rates, and share learnings from the front line
- Provide regular feedback to marketing and leadership on market trends, buyer objections, and opportunity areas to shape future campaigns and service offerings
- 6+ years in sales or BDR roles within a Digital agency (essential)
- Demonstrated success selling SEO, Paid Media, Web Development, and Software solutions
- Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, Creative, and Web/Tech services
- Familiar with sales tech including HubSpot, Gong, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
