Venue AV Account Manager – Events Venue – London
Salary: £48K plus OTE £5k

DNA Recruit are working with a leading Professional Body, who seek to hire an experienced, collaborative and tech-savvy Venue AV Account Manager to be responsible for the sales of the venue AV packages and solutions to meet the demand of internal and external clients. The role should provide clients with knowledge and solutions in audio, visual, lighting, conference call/video, IPTV, hybrid events, hybrid meetings, filming, and streaming, plus production services to all users in the building, with the support of your team.
Main Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for sales of the audio-visual services, packages and equipment to make a profit as well as the provision, stock control, asset management of all AV equipment including pool equipment and its security.
To manage a Digital Signage Technician, ensuring targets and KPI’s are met. . It involves providing expert advice on audio, visual, lighting, video conferencing, IPTV, hybrid events, filming, and streaming services across the venue's lecture theatres and meeting rooms. Responsibilities include client liaison, site visits, creating quotations, and offering guidance on equipment to ensure exceptional service. Managing AV stock, coordinating signage, and ensuring profitable AV operations are also key tasks. Full H&S function ensuring compliance, holding regular meetings, preparing risk assessments and to be a fire warden and first aider if need be.
The Person…
The ideal person will need to have AV sales experience within a live events venue, with knowledge in sound, lighting and lighting and have operated hybrid meetings/events of up to 500 in a room.
Current and/or previous experience in selling AV packages and AV solutions to clients is essential, as well as experience in management.
Technically savvy and passionate about AV, with a calm, approachable demeanour are exactly what the team is looking for in a leader.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage confidently at various levels.
Experience managing AV for live events, including audio, video, lighting, and staging.
Operational knowledge of AV hardware and conference call/video systems (including Zoom, Teams, and Logitech Rally).
Familiarity with video, filming, streaming technologies, including TriCaster and Analogue Way systems.
Understanding of LAN networks, IT connectivity, VPN, and Wi-Fi setups.
Knowledge of digital signage systems, IPTV, and room control systems including AMX/Crestron.
