JOB DESCRIPTION
The role
The purpose of this role is to be responsible for managing the day-to-day client relationship for at least two accounts, one of which is a social only account with the opportunity to grow the business ATL.
You will work on a team with an Account Manager which at times the role will overlap. You will be contributing to developing the social media stategy and content plans for the client, as well as being responsible for the posting and community management of content on the social accounts. You will be reporting into the Head of Social on content mangement.
This person ideally has a strong knowledge of Social Media across all channels, and is able to speak confidently about them in terms of the ever changing landscape and staying on top of trends, as well as best practice.
They should be the person that clients rely on for the latest industry news. Some exposure to paid strategy as well as buying paid on social would be a benefit.
Some skills and interest in content creation would be of great value.
In addition, it would be ideal to have some knowledge of traditional advertising strategy and the workings of a more traditional brand agency.
Key responsibilities of the role
You will be working within the Account Team, and with the Head of Social in order to,
- Contribute to the planning, creation and scheduling of high-quality social content for multiple clients
- Responsible for the community management for a key retail client – this can include some out of hours working (checking in on social pages 3x a day on weekends and 1x in evenings)
- Responsible for pulling reporting data and contributing to it’s analysis on a monthly basis
- Contributing to the overall strategy for at least two clients, one of which may be a more traditional ATL or 360 relationship
- Managing the day to day client relationship for these accounts
Essential skills and attributes
- 2+ years social experience and expertise
- Good account and client management skills, from briefing to reporting
- Appreciation of the latest Social and Digital techniques and their commercial application
- Naturally confident, outgoing person with strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong ability to work well with a variety of different people
- A curious and inquisitive mind
- Strong time management
- Must be a self-starter and problem-solver
