Sales and Events Manager– Events Venue – London
Salary: £38K + bonus

DNA Recruit is working with one of the coolest blank canvas spaces in London who deliver a variety of events within the venue, including exhibitions, conferences, product launches, film shoots and more. This role will see you working with some of the biggest global brands and businesses, and they are now looking to expand their team. If you are passionate about event sales, have savvy and innovative sales revenue ideas and want to be part of a sensational team, then we want to hear from you.
 
The role…
 
  • Execute sales strategies, including diary management, identifying new opportunities, and proactive business development.
  • Ensure sales targets and KPIs are met and monitored consistently.
  • Collaborate with the line manager and the teams across the portfolio to deliver proactive sales strategies.
  • Contribute to contract negotiation and manage key high-value clients.
  • Conduct site visits, effectively explaining space options for various events.
  • Work with the central Marketing team to deliver data-driven marketing strategies.
  • Ensure marketing targets and KPIs are met, acting as a brand guardian for your spaces.
  • Attend networking events to actively promote your spaces and other spaces within the portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with group policies across spaces.
  • Manage event invoices and reconcile events within two weeks post-event.
  • Provide relevant figures to the space P&L for forecasting and reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure compliance with group policies.
  • Oversee compliance with policies, procedures, and metrics across spaces.
  • Support line manager in sales recruitment.
  • Lead performance management and development of direct reports.
  • Manage People/HR proceedings as required.
  • Identify training needs and guide team development.
 
The Person…
 
  • Proven track record in developing business strategies for multifaceted venues
  • Minimum 4 years in event venue sales or similar role
  • Proficiency in CRM software, with bonus points for Salesforce expertise
  • A knack for thriving under pressure and maintaining unshakeable composure
