Senior Strategist – Brand Experience Agency - London

Are you ready to shape brand relevance and create powerful brand experiences? The agency, an award-winning Brand Experience agency, is seeking a talented Strategist to join our team. As a key figure within the agency, you will play a vital role in delivering impactful experiences for thier clients that truly resonate with their target audience.

DNA Recruit is working with an award-winning Brand Experience agency. For over 30 years, they have been at the forefront of the industry, creating memorable brand experiences that transcend both physical and digital platforms. Their portfolio includes some world-renowned brands.

Role and Responsibilities: As a Strategist, you will be responsible for leveraging data and trend analysis to unlock insights that bridge the gap between client challenges, propositions, and creative concepts. Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the clients and brands they work with, exploring how they activate across various consumer touchpoints.
  • Interpret and analyze client briefs to focus objectives and drive strategic direction.
  • Lead research using diverse tools and services, ensuring that insights are data-driven and inspiring.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews, write discussion guides, and analyze the findings.
  • Rapidly analyze large volumes of data to identify critical points of interest.
  • Distill information into a compelling core proposition and reasons to believe, presenting them in a way that tells a story and establishes an emotional connection.
  • Collaborate closely with their creative team to unlock braver ideas and ensure seamless integration of strategic approaches.
  • Identify opportunities for brands based on future consumer behaviors and needs.
  • Establish and promote workflows, guidelines, best practices, and standards to ensure alignment with brand positioning.
  • Add value to their clients by reviewing brand positioning within the category and competitive landscape, assessing its relevance within culture.
  • Understand the commercial principles of the agency’s profitability and influence proposed strategic approaches accordingly.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external teams, fostering a supportive and respectful environment.
  • Share knowledge with other teams in the agency and manage up as required to meet client and project needs.
  • Embrace new concepts, ideas, and ways of working, adapting to different time frames, client sectors, and depths of strategy.
  • Communicate findings and proposals in a compelling and stimulating manner, adapting communication styles to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Listen actively to understand client and brand challenges, both explicit and implicit.
  • Bring dynamism, drive, and positive energy to the agency, radiating belief in our clients and internal teams.
  • Embrace a curious, pro-active mindset, constantly seeking knowledge and inspiration.

Qualifications and Skills: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience in a strategy role within a creative or marketing agency, preferably with exposure to big international brands.
  • Strong familiarity with cultural and media trends.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and ability to derive insights from various sources.
  • Excellent research skills and experience conducting in-depth interviews.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex information into a compelling narrative.
  • Understanding of brand experience within the marketing mix and its evolving integration across disciplines and touchpoints.
  • Knowledge of strategy's contribution to agency value and client success.
  • Commercial acumen and awareness of agency profitability principles.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within teams.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, adaptable to different audiences and contexts.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with a positive attitude and a hunger for knowledge and inspiration.

 
Salary: Up to 70k
