Senior Planner (x2) - Multi-Practice Marketing Agency - London

Summary

We are looking for two super Senior Strategists to be based in the London office of the world's largest activation agency. 

Our client is an award-winning, multi-practice marketing agency who influence buying behaviour with transformative creative solutions informed by rich data and sharp insights. With teams in 56 different markets, our client is the largest and most international agency of its kind with an expertise in shopper, digital, experiential, relationship, promotional and trade marketing. They are part of a wider global network that finds hidden gaps between intention and action, creating innovative tools and ideas to close them.

You will be collaborating with 15-20 strategists on multiple accounts with a range of clients, covering a variety of project types - from digital to shopper, to fully integrated. Due to the project-based nature of the work, you will be working across many accounts including FMCG, beverages, financial and health clients and working closely with the ECD, CSO and Head of Digital.

The role of the Senior Strategist will include:

  • Working through an excess of information, data, culture, channel activity and research and find interesting truths, quirks and insights, then turn these into exciting strategies for everyone else (i.e. internal teams e.g. client partnership, creative, creative technologists, external partners, the client, the target audience);
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different teams of people;
  • Create a strategic way through a new brand, audience, use of channel or technology.

Is it you?

The Senior Strategist will ideally have 5-10 years experience. Most importantly, the candidate will have the right attitude and approach. They must also:

  • Have an in-depth understanding and passion for digital channels (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram), digital innovation (e.g. beacons, RFID, NFC, VR, AR) and how different consumers behave online;
  • An understanding of how people make decisions along their omni-channel journey from "doing a thing", purchasing a product or using a service then exposing opportunities to influence or change their behaviour;
  • Leading c-suite workshops to define various stakeholder, audience and business needs, helping to translate into comprehensive personas and online experiences.
  • Developing digital strategies to help brands unlock opportunities brought about by digital channels;
  • Be curious and be able to cut through a glut of information;
  • Provide lots of energy and relish in taking their thinking into new areas and taking on new challenges. 

 

Salary: Up to £70K plus bonus & benefits
