JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is a Chicago-based global leader in retail innovation and technology-driven experiences. They’re now seeking a Senior Director of Information Technology to oversee IT operations and drive strategic digital transformation. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will ensure seamless IT infrastructure, security, and enterprise resource planning integration to support the company’s cutting-edge retail solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company’s vision for digital retail innovation.
- Lead and manage a team of developers, security analysts, and IT support staff.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of hardware, software, and enterprise systems.
- Ensure company-wide technology updates and provide training for employees.
- Develop business continuity protocols to minimize operational disruptions.
- Assess IT infrastructure performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain security of systems, networks, and enterprise data, ensuring compliance with best practices.
- Oversee ERP system implementation and multisite IT coordination to optimize operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science; Master’s or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years leading an IT department, preferably in a technology-driven or retail solutions environment.
- Experience implementing an ERP system (D365 preferred) to support business operations.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Passion for innovation and leveraging technology to enhance business and customer experiences.
