Senior Account Director - Independent Creative Agency - London

Summary

A creative communications agency is looking for a Senior Account Director with at least 18 months Account Director experience, to work on their biggest client, and lots of opportunity to grow within the role.


An independent creative communications agency is based in central London. They pride themselves on getting their audience to do something to change how they feel and think. They are experts in developing and crafting activation and creating new brands that are action orientated.


The Senior Account Director will be working closely with and reporting to the Business Director on the agency's main account and develop and maintain long term client relationships by working in close collaboration. You will be working with the client to deliver behaviour changes across the range of issues the client faces and the development of this well-known utilities brand through advertising led campaigns. Other responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Business Director in the delivery of annual business development plans to deliver against targets, driving income and profitability.
  • Developing a positive and collaborative relationship with all the agency's departments, which in turn enables them to deliver the best service possible, by valuing, actively listening and offering feedback to colleagues.
  • Contribute and capture ideas from previous experience, knowledge and imagination, and encourage your team to do the same.
  • Meet individual commercial targets and lead the team in the achievement of team targets.
  • Run campaigns profitably and deliver the highest levels of client service, strategic output and creative work, which in turn build effective relationships with key stakeholders.


Is it you?
The Senior Account Director will naturally have a passion for doing great work and have integrated channel experience. You are experienced in assessing whether creative work is on strategy, on brand and on brief and be prepared to roll up your sleeves and muck in. Other skills you will require are:-

  • Ability to communicate at all levels with clients and internally, and have a clear, accurate and concise written style across emails, and written communication.
  • Demonstrate gravitas by commanding meetings, taking control and reassuring and is capable of creating and delivering client presentations with confidence, clarity and conviction
  • Giving regular meaningful feedback and understand how to motivate your teams, and developing active listening and coaching skills to help develop more junior team members.
  • Managing time efficiently and prioritise work effectively, delegating where appropriate, and finding solutions when issues arise.
