Known as one of experiential marketing's top players, this global communications agency based in Central London has over 16 offices worldwide and specialise in creating fans for brands, combining the power of live event and digital to create memorable brand experiences and natural brand advocacy.

They are looking for a Production Director who will deliver best in class production capabilities for their clients across live events and experiential. The Production Director's role will be to act as the conduit between client servicing teams, creative and production to ensure promises are delivered, on time, on budget. Making efficient use of the resources available, the Production Director coordinates teams (perm and freelance) across a variety of disciplines, demonstrating an understanding of, and empathy for, the different skill-sets involved. Other day to day responsibilities include:-

  • Delivering live events & experiential campaigns, new business pitches and people management
  • Ensure flawless delivery of all projects
  • Coach and develop a team in the production process
  • Champion the latest ideas in creative event production
  • Champion the experiential planning process
  • Recommend the best freelance and internal talent for the project
  • Build a network of freelance talent
  • Budget control/management, to deliver to agreed financial targets and enhance margin
  • Complex supplier negotiation
  • Ensure quality standards are adhered to

Is it you?

We are looking for a candidate with considerable integrated digital and AV experience in your work who is great with people at all levels and is unfazed by tight deadlines and conflicting priorities, and who can remain calm and collected under pressure. Other skills and experience required for this role include:-

  • Having a wide range of proven third party suppliers
  • Adapting your presentation style in response to audience reaction
  • Possess a highly detailed knowledge of technical and logistical aspects of production
  • Highly organised, with exceptional administration skills and flawless attention to detail
  • The ability to construct and manage complex project budgets
  • Excellent people management skills who can delegate effectively
  • A good understanding of design and print and a knowledge of layout
  • Keep up-to-date with current marketing thinking, theory and practice

Salary: up to £70K plus benefits
