Junior Finance Analyst – Events Venue – London Salary: up to £30k + Benefits

DNA Recruit is working with an iconic London Venue and landmark who are looking for a tech-savvy, problem-solving Junior Finance Analyst to work across the business and play an integral part in future decisions, stability, growth and profitability.

Attention to detail and strong numerical skills will be vital in this role as you support the financial planning and analysis team across month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business intelligence.

Main Responsibilities:
The role will cover the preparation and reconciliation of month-end files across all areas of the business, assisting with variance analysis against budgets, P&L, sales and budget reporting, and assisting in the development of business intelligence systems. Maintain Event ID matrix for Exhibitions and Conference & Events, working with the sales team to confirm all events are correctly recorded and assisting in the creation of PowerBI reports.

The Person…
The ideal person will have strong communication skills with the highest standard of written and verbal English, with the ability to problem solve and communicate effectively with various level stakeholders.
A relevant tertiary Degree and highly proficient in the full Microsoft Office suite (with intermediate to advanced Excel skills – sumifs/vlookups/pivots), are essential requirements in order to be successful in this role.
Overall the team is looking for someone dedicated to their work, with a lovely and easygoing personality who enjoys working in an office environment, with the ability to be adaptable to change.
