Head of Retail - Global Network Agency - London

Summary

Retail, retail, retail. We are looking for a Head of Retail who can lead the Retail Team of a global network agency based in London in developing ground-breaking integrated brand/product strategies and creative campaigns.

A globally renowned award winning, fully integrated agency in London is looking for a Head of Retail with a passion for retail and shopper marketing, advertising, and brand communications, digital, social and all its manifestations. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the world's top 10 biggest agency networks, with nearly 50 offices in over 40 countries worldwide. Reporting to the European Retail Director you will sit at the heart of the Retail Team, and partner with the Senior Retail Planner and a key member to help the retail business and the agency grow as a whole. Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage and execute projects related to the main client account (global electronics giant) and other accounts within the agency with shopper marketing and retail management
  • Proactive client consulting with innovative retail marketing solutions (innovative POS tools / retail accessories according the local and global needs)
  • Coordination and supervision of new retail installations and roll outs as well as regular maintenance of the shop displays
  • Support European Retail Director with the Global/European HQ projects
  • Working close with the clients including regular offsite visits to their head office
  • Help develop new business opportunities and other client and internal initiatives as they arise
  • Contribute to the development of the agency's Strategy Function and help ensure the work of the department drives truly creative and effective solutions

Is it you?

We are looking for a Head of Retail who has an extremely passionate and positive attitude and an infectious enthusiasm, and with experience in handling large and complex clients / organisations. The Head of Retail must have experience in developing integrated activity or at least a clear understanding of how to approach integrated campaign planning effectively. Other skills include:-

  • Great team player who lends a hand to teammates whenever needed
  • Focus and energy to make things happen
  • Strong analytical approach and ability to conduct qualitative research
  • Strong IT skills (MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
  • Excellent communicator both verbal and written
  • Strong relationship builder
  • Work well under pressure with strong attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of technology and IOT
  • Must be a 'digital native' and knowledge in the consumer electronics industry a bonus
  • Must enjoy the creative process and be driven by it.
  • Smart approach to problems and targets using all resources available to achieve the best result.

Salary: up to £100K plus bonus and benefits
