The Role
As Talent Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for renowned artists and musicians throughout a high-profile winter tour. Your role will be to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, so artists can focus on delivering their best performances. You’ll oversee daily schedules, rehearsals, performances, and media appearances while liaising between the artists and the production team. This role will also see you managing contracts, budgets, and ensuring artists’ needs are met on and off the stage.
This is an exciting, fast-paced role, perfect for someone who thrives in the world of live entertainment and enjoys the challenge of supporting world-class talent on tour.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for artists and musicians, handling their day-to-day needs and concerns.
- Manage artists’ schedules, including rehearsals, performances, and promotional appearances.
- Ensure seamless communication between the artists and production team to guarantee smooth operations.
- Oversee the fulfilment of artists’ contracts, including payments and obligations.
- Handle budgets related to artist expenses, ensuring accuracy and financial transparency.
- Provide personal support to artists, resolving any issues that could affect their performance or well-being.
- Coordinate interviews, press appearances, and media interactions for the artists, ensuring they are prepared and well-represented.
- Assist with logistics, including the movement of artists and their personal belongings between tour locations.
- Address any challenges that arise on tour, including health concerns, travel issues, or interpersonal conflicts.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in talent or artist management, preferably within the classical music, musical theatre, or live entertainment sectors.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage complex schedules and logistics.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to maintain positive relationships with artists and production teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and crisis management abilities.
- Willingness to travel if required.
- A degree in Music Management or a related field is preferred.
This is a unique chance to work with some of the most talented artists in classical music and musical theatre, supporting them through an exciting and prestigious international tour. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that every aspect of the artists' experience runs smoothly, from performances to media appearances, while enjoying the fast-paced, rewarding environment of live entertainment.
