This agency is seen as a transformational leader in the digital industry capable of driving change. They are looking for a Client Services Director who can mirror this attitude and produce world class digital work. The right candidate will have prior success in business development and building, maintain client relationships and experience of managing global clients. They will be required to articulate a compelling business case and can galvanise the team to action in the face of change. Ideally the right candidate will speak Swedish.
As one of the most senior members of the management team, you serve as the key business lead across a client portfolio spanning £10M-£20M in annual revenue. You will seek out and deliver new and existing opportunities, inspire the teams to deliver world-class work, and mentor and lead in the delivery of excellence.
This role will lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver great work whilst meeting client, team, and commercial expectations. You directly line manage the client service team within the portfolio.
You are accountable for driving best-in-class work, client satisfaction, employee engagement, and ultimately: commercial success. Success KPIs include revenue and margin targets, client satisfaction targets, employee engagement targets, and standard of work targets.
Drive the business health of the portfolio. Delight clients, foster long-term relationships, build a strong team culture, and meet the revenue and margin targets.
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of wider commercial issues. Set up processes and systems with Finance, Delivery, and Operations to maintain client profitability targets at all times. Meet and exceed revenue and margin targets. Develop, review, and maintain revenue forecasts across the portfolio.
Organic growth: Drive growth through systemised growth plans and regular planning sessions with clients. Organise team resource and set out growth initiatives against which resource can be planned.
Business development: Leverage relationships to extend the agency remit within existing and new client organisations. Seek out opportunities with related client brands.
Work with Finance to set rate cards, develop overall client procurement strategy and contract negotiation.
Business Partner: Provide senior clients and their Boards with business-transforming innovation ideas and digital marketing expertise. Consult on client challenges to deliver a positive difference to their bottom line, through experience, entrepreneurialism and incisive thought. Leverage service lines to develop partnerships, new services and solutions that help client businesses exceed growth and KPI targets.
Stakeholder management: Successfully manage multiple suppliers, partners and clients to ensure best outcome for client and agency. Keep stakeholders informed of project progress at all times and manage expectations proactively.
Grow strategic client relationships, take part in key client meetings, mentor the core team and act as a final escalation point for team activity.
Inspire the team to develop top-quality creative solutions to our clients that earn high marks for client satisfaction.
Configuration in order to achieve quality of work, efficiency, and revenue targets.
Oversee the recruitment process of the client service team; work with HR for people-related items.
Oversee demand and capacity management, predict skill-set capacity or shortages and implement strategies to mitigate foreseen risks.
