Business Analyst - UX- Digital Agency - Amsterdam/Brussels

Summary

We are seeking a Business Analyst User Experience to work on-site with our client at their Digital Centre of Excellence (DCoE) in Brussels. Our client is a global automotive brand, with European headquarters in the Belgian capital. The DCoE is part of our client's Business Transformation division, coordinating their digital presence in Europe to ensure strategic and operational alignment of digital activities across the company.

Key activities of the DCoE are related to user experience and design. As a User Experience Project Manager, you will initiate, plan and follow up on our client's projects across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continually improve the customer experience by researching and proposing strategic user experience updates for digital products (Note: this is at a strategic level, this role will not be responsible for hands on creation of wireframes/prototypes).

  • Proactively identify design improvements/issues and communicate requirements.

  • Assist the main client contact with the following tasks:

o Create scope documents and functional specifications/user stories for handover to external Development team.

o Take a user-centred approach and organise usability testing, A/B tests and other appropriate testing methods (e.g. heatmaps, scrolling tests, etc.).

o Secure appropriate client-side management, cross-departmental and local market involvement at all necessary stages.

o Coordinate projects with the agency team during briefing, concept development, production and roll-out.

o Perform 6-monthly content audit and coordinate clean-up with internal stakeholders.

o Perform regular audits of local market websites and prepare summary documents.

  • Act as gatekeeper for content, design and UX. Create, distribute and check performance

    of local market websites and internal departments against policies, standards and processes.

  • Actively track and measure customer satisfaction related to use of the website and take proactive

    measures.

  • Coordinate content input with internal departments for website functionalities.

 

UX and design

  • Proactively identify design improvements/issues and communicate requirements.

  • Make strategic design and user experience decisions related to both core and new functions and features.

  • Establish and track project success criteria and Key Performance Indicators.

  • Coordinate and facilitate delivery of project objectives and review project tasks to ensure deadlines are

    met.

    Customer satisfaction

  • Based on consumer and business insights, propose and create briefings to further enhance website functionality.

  • Continually monitor competitive activity and develop presentations to management.

  • Analyse data and share action plans in reports of the most important findings to higher management.

    Content input

* Collaborate with other team members/stakeholders to coordinate content input and ensure new features/functionalities are launched in a timely manner.

Digital governance

  • Maintain the pan-EU sitemap and act as point of reference for internal alignment, to guarantee a customer-focused approach.

  • Maintain taxonomy keyword list on European website in alignment with key content stakeholders. Skills and Experience

  • 5-10 years experience.

  • Proven experience and track record with user experience, business analysis and design, including writing

    user stories and briefing documents.

  • Focused on a simple, customer-centric approach, with an analytical yet creative mind-set.

  • Detail-oriented but able to extrapolate from data to connect the dots into the bigger picture.

  • Technical and computer-savvy.

  • Able to deliver effective work in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Excellent project management skills within a matrix organisation.

  • Mature and professional manner with strong interpersonal communication skills;

    at ease within an international environment.

  • Fluent in English, any other European language an asset.
