Area Manager – AV Production Company – Paris

Salary: €70,000

 
Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for operational excellence and a knack for driving sales growth? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Area Manager to oversee operations in the EMEA Region on behalf of our esteemed client.

Position Overview:

As the Area Manager, you will take charge of managing operations across assigned venues in the region. Your mission is to ensure the delivery of world-class service, build lasting relationships with venue partners, and drive success in sales and operations. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager or the Regional Operations Director, you will lead a team to achieve business objectives and contribute to the company's initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring outstanding customer service and retention. Collaborate with sales leadership on strategies and identify new revenue opportunities.
Financial Management: Drive revenue growth and profitability through efficient operations. Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting. Analyze P&L statements and implement action plans for business growth.
Operations Management: Oversee daily floor operations, ensuring compliance with brand and safety standards. Analyze schedules and resources, making recommendations for efficient labour and equipment utilization.
Equipment & Information Management: Enforce equipment security, analyze equipment needs, and develop programs to improve efficiency's. Utilize company systems for site visits and adherence to SOPs.
Sales Management: Hold locations accountable for maintaining a healthy sales pipeline. Provide sales support, ensure accurate forecasting, and collaborate on sales strategies with venue sales leadership.
Customer Service: Deliver world-class service by fostering relationships with customers, venue personnel, and supporting functions. Uphold employee guidelines for a polished and professional image.
Team Leadership and Development: Embrace and foster the company’s core values. Act as a liaison between regional management and venue partners. Lead HR activities, address employee concerns, and mentor venue leaders.
Job Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of audio-visual experience
  • 5+ years of sales/customer service experience
  • 5+ years of operations supervisory/management experience in audio-visual
  • Strong financial acumen, sales planning, forecasting, and CRM skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with computer hardware and software
Work Environment:
  • Venue environment with exposure to various conditions
  • Irregular hours, on-call status, including weekends and holidays
  • Up to 20% travel may be required.
