This agency is one of the few extremely successful independent creative agencies in London that come up against the big top 5 in pitches. They are winning awards, clients and making great work as brand lead for household names. They are now looking for a brilliant Account Manager to join their growing Client Services team and help them realise their ambitious plans for growth.

They recruit for the agency so the successful candidate would get involved in a broad portfolio of accounts. They are a small team and you will be working with senior members of the team who are some of the best mentors in the industry.

 

Although we they are keen to meet candidates from diverse agency backgrounds, all the candidates should demonstrate the following characteristics:

  • A passion for the industry and a desire to make great work, they should know the difference between good and great work
  • A can-do attitude, they should be a team player who wants to help the whole team to deliver every day, and really get stuck in
  • An ability to anticipate problems and head them off before they arise, proactivity comes naturally to them and is something that they revel in
  • A desire to help their clients with their business issues
  • And.. someone who wants to be part of the team culture and unwind with them at the end of the day.

The successful person is going to be smart, with boundless energy and get up and go. They are not picky about the sorts of accounts that they have worked, but in this instance they are looking for a candidate that has this mix of experience:

  • Multi-channel experience encompassing TV, print, OOH and digital. An understanding of social and content would also stand them in good stead
  • Experience of managing the roll out of campaigns in partnership with production partners
  • Experience in managing creative teams and designers
  • Experience in managing senior stakeholders within the agency

The successful candidate will be taken under the account management team's wings and be helped to develop the hard and soft skills to succeed in the job through a combination of internal mentoring, industry events and training.
