Account Manager - Creative Agency - Hertfordshire/Hybrid
Are you a passionate and experienced Account Manager seeking an exciting opportunity in the creative marketing industry? If so, we are looking for someone just like you!
DNA Recruit is working with an independent creative marketing agency with a rich heritage and expertise in retail. The agency is proudly working with some of the UK's leading retailers and brands (would you like to know these please?). Their key disciplines encompass retail marketing, shopper marketing, brand activation, brand development, business-to-business, and print & production. They are located in Hertfordshire, just a short 30-minute train journey from London.
As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering strong client relationships and overseeing the successful delivery of marketing projects. Working in close partnership with their clients, you will collaborate with internal teams, including the Account Director, Creative Services Director (CSD), and Executive Creative Director (ECD), to ensure seamless project execution and exceptional results.
Effectively manage day-to-day client requirements based on the agreed-upon scope of work (SOW).
Skilfully gather comprehensive briefs from clients and efficiently communicate them to the creative team.
Demonstrate commercial acumen by tracking revenue targets and developing accurate estimates.
Oversee the work flow within the studio and manage the team required for each project.
Collaborate closely with the Account Director, ECD, strategic planner, and creative teams to form a highly effective client team.
Cultivate and maintain a strong relationship between the agency and the client, understanding their business needs.
Proactively identify opportunities and innovative solutions, aligned with the client's strategic goals and competitor landscape.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluate the quality of agency/client relationships and deliverables.
Contribute to new business initiatives and pitches, seeking out potential opportunities.
Attend client meetings, prepare meeting minutes when necessary, and follow up with written proposals.
Qualifications and required skills:
Proven track record in driving and building client accounts
Up to 5 years of relevant experience
Digital marketing knowledge
Retail or Agency-side background preferred
Familiarity with FMCG brands is a plus
Strong relationship-building and client-facing skills
Analytical mindset with creative problem-solving abilities
Commercially aware with excellent communication skills
Collaborative and organized with strong project management capabilities
Willingness to work remotely and visit clients occasionally
