DNA Recruit are working with an incredible Entertainment & Music events business who are looking for a highly ambitious Venue Operations Manager to join their incredibly talented team. This exciting venue hosts a diverse range of events from large scale corporate events, brand launches, music shows to consumer exhibitions and festivals, award dinners and filming.

We are looking for talented and driven Venue Operations Manager to join our busy events team and support the Head of Operations in the successful planning and delivery of all types of events. You will lead on all of the logistical planning and operations of your allocated events, as well as support the Operations Team in the managing of all types of events. No two days will be the same, you will gain incredible experience and have enormous opportunity to expose yourself to a huge variety of events.

Is it you?

  • Minimum of 3 years of event operations experience, ideally in a large-scale events venue.
  • A passion for venues and events.
  • Good working knowledge of industry legislations, general event licensing and documentation required.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional organisational and planning skills. A self starter with a proactive approach to everyday work - both working as a team and independently.
  • A fantastic sense of prioritisation and time management.
  • Ability to keep calm, work under pressure and problem solve quickly.
  • The ability to work to short turnaround times with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to understand finance, invoicing and post event reconciliation.
  • Exceptional confidence in briefing contractors and suppliers on site.
  • Demonstrate Health & Safety (or similar) qualifications.
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach and positive attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages to include Word and Excel. Use of email - Gmail or Outlook.
  • Availability to work late hours, weekends, bank holidays as required for event delivery.
