Salary: £35-40k


Are you an experienced Venue Manager with a personal licence, looking to work within an iconic venue in London as part of a super team and delivering an exciting new vision for the venue? Are you passionate about the music industry and events? If you've answered yes to these questions, then this could be the perfect role for you!

DNA Recruit is working with a truly iconic venue in London, steeped in history with a reputation for producing some of the most innovative and ground breaking performances and live music events. This busy venue delivers 5 to 6 live events per week and thus requires an energetic, highly organised and problem solving Venue Manager to play a key part in this delivery. The role will manage the event planning process working to ensure clients and promoters specific needs are met and even exceeded. A Personal Licence or BIIAB Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders, will be essential for this role.

Main Responsibilities:
The role will cover management of event planning processes, as well as carrying out H&S regulations, budget control, stock management and managing staff schedules.

Further to this, you will have the opportunity to build incredible relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, as the Venue Manager will often be the first point of contact in all aspects, from site visits, licensing meetings, venue access control and more.

The Person…
The ideal person will be a strong communicator and able to deal with stakeholders and staff at every level, with equally strong numerical competence to handle P&L's and GP. You will be incredibly organised and passionate about live music and events working with clients to deliver the most exciting and varied events and live music experiences for their customers.

A mandatory requirement for this position is a valid Personal Licence OR BIIAB Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders. IOSH, NEBOSH or similar Health and Safety Training would be preferred but not essential. Managing crowds safety qualification also desirable.
