DNA Recruit are working with a, Experience Design Agency who are working with some of the worlds largest retailers on how to position their business towards the customer and successfully deliver strong growth, quarter on quarter, whilst improving their customer satisfaction. They feel that adopting the partnership approach opening themselves and their clients to boundless collaboration and unlocking the imagination and delivering tangible outcomes that makes their clients world class.

As a UX Designer you be responsible for raising the bar, researching user needs and motivations, developing concepts and prototypes. Your role will involve:

  • Research and analyse customer needs and expectations - using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Understanding industry and competitor experience benchmarks, and using these to inform your designs.
  • Design digital experiences that work in the broader customer context, and build bridges between digital and physical touchpoints.
  • Work alongside brand teams in a coaching role, whilst taking responsibility for day-to-day tasks as they get up to speed. Tasks can vary, sometimes day-to-day, and include workshop facilitation, preparation of documents and presentations, delivery of training and more.

Is it you?

As a UX Designer our client is looking for someone who can demonstrate at least four years experience in UX design, interaction design, or digital creative design roles. You have a good understanding of customer experience disciplines, a problem solver and a committed to data driven decision making. You must be a team player, with aptitude and experience within your role, who has come from either retail or FMCG industries, a strategy consultancy, a software development lab, project management or something completely different, but you are clear in what you can bring to the party.

Our client is looking for UX Designers in multiple locations and you need to be able to attend one of these locations - London/Amsterdam/Northern Ireland - for meetings as and when required.

You must:

  • Be able to work in the EU with no visa requirements or restrictions and have no existing preclusion from working in the USA.
  • You must be flexible to travel (adhoc), including internationally.
  • Certifications and memberships should be detailed in your application and you must declare up front, any restrictions on the nature of work that you can perform, including any brand-specific covenants that would limit your ability to work for them.

Salary £35K-£80K + benefits (dependent on experience). Mulitple roles available in multiple locations
