DNA are looking on behalf of a client for 4 x Senior Software Engineers and practitioners of the latest technologies; building best in class applications, serving users on the modern technical landscape. You will be working in a progressive, meritocratic environment, with access to work renowned thought leadership. The role includes hands on development on medium to large scale projects, and to be able to identify bottlenecks within delivery processes as they occur to help influence behaviours within the team and to help resolve and protect the technical delivery.

The Software Engineer must be a self-starting technologist who is able to draw parallels across a technology landscape and who isn't restricted by a specific skill set, and a list of skill sets required are:

• JavaScript Development (ECMAScript6+, Node)
• Java Development
• Architect, writing, publishing, and consuming packages (npm)
• Database; SQL and no-SQL Development and/or Memcache
• Cloud Hosting Providers (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Server deployment for High availability and scalability
• Designing and developing API endpoints (REST & GraphQL)
• Producing quality Unit tested, modularised code
• Serverless Architectures, Event driven Architectures, Microservices, MACH and 'JAMStack'
• CI/CD Pipeline development and architectures (AWS, Azure, Jenkins, Atlassian tools, GitHub), and code branching strategies
• Integrating SaaS products, such as Headless CMSs, and other API first SaaS Marketing and Experience Technologies
• Workflow tools such as JIRA and/or Azure DevOps
• Application performance, security, and pen-testing
• Implementing test strategies in a DevOps environment

Is it you?

• 5+ years industry experience, in Client-side JavaScript Development such as REACT or Angular
• Ability to talk for Technology to Non-technical audiences such as clients, stakeholders, and nontechnical team members (especially UX & Creative)
• Experience developing PWAs, Web workers and Web APIs, and other programming and scripting languages such as Python and Ruby
• Sharp attention to detail and a passion for new technology
• Alexa or other home assistant application development
• AI data modelling and Machine Learning principles, machine learning, chat bots /conversation solutions, AI services integration
• Multi-user, gaming, or Dual screen casting experiences
• Native or Abstracted Mobile Development for iOS or Android
• Advocate for improvements to processes, quality, and security
• Data Engineering
• Decentralised applications running on the Blockchain
• Advocate of Technical Delivery methodologies such as Agile (SCRUM & KANBAN)
