DNA Recruit are working with an international global events group who work with clients in over 30 countries who work with businesses and professionals in specialists markets and provide the connections, intelligence and opportunities that help their customers grow.


The Senior Sales Manager's role is to sell hybrid and virtual event exhibition opportunities, sponsorship opportunities and digital media solutions across the nutrition markets in the UK, Asia, Europe to other suppliers distributors and other manufacturers in the world of nutrition. Your role will also be to grow key accounts, existing business and for sourcing new sales leads and closing new business across the brand, and will be responsible for direct reports who will require general support, biannual reviews, and other reporting elements. Other responsibilities :

  • Selling high value exhibition space, sponsorship opportunities and content marketing led packages across Hybrid and Virtual events as well as website presence.
  • Conduct on-going telesales activities and be able to confidently sell and close via the telephone, face to face at industry events as well as understand the consultative sales process.
  • Finding and developing key high value new business as well as handling and growing existing business, but sourcing and closing new business is essential.
  • Offering portfolio and annual sponsorship and content marketing opportunities across the brand.
  • Reconnecting with previous exhibitors and prospective companies.
  • Manage own sales pipeline and maintain and update Salesforce.
  • Supporting development of market analysis and opportunity assessment for brand growth, new revenue growth opportunities and product creation.
  • Follow the sales plans and approaches to grow their existing customer account share of wallet, through cross selling and up selling.
  • Take an active role in the on-site re-booking and the retention of your customer's post-show.
  • Actively input into the floor plan.

As Senior Sales Manager you are naturally a team player who encourages feedback from colleagues and contributes equally to ideas to the team, and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike, and have a "lead by example" philosophy on revenue generation, prospecting and project managing, with a customer focused attitude. You have knowledge of CRM systems (pref Salesforce but not essential) and experience in developing medium to large accounts in high revenue sponsorship and content marketing programs. The Senior Sales Manager's success will be measured on weekly activity levels ie. calls per week, sales against target and new business leads per week, so you must have excellent organisational and time management skills, exceptional telephone manner, able to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines and are eager to learn and develop.

Salary: £48K plus benefits
