Senior Associate/Data Analyst (Intelligence and Reporting)

DNA Recruit are working with an Independent Creative Marketing Consultancy founded in 2012 by senior industry practitioners.

A collective of diverse skill sets, experience and interests, helping brands navigate four key pillars of modern brand management - Data, Intelligence & Research, Strategy & Consulting, Creative, Design & Experience, and Creative Production.

Working almost like an extension to our client's teams, often supporting C-Suite level, this consultancy has the privilege of working on some of the most important and pressing questions their clients face today.

Job purpose

* Working within a team providing insights that give clients a deep and detailed understanding of critical topics to provide the context.
* An important aspect of this role is to explore beyond the brief, spot patterns in the data and make recommendations that show you fully understand the client's needs.
* Examples of topics include, Country/Market specific Insight Reports and periodic Intelligence Reports which cover performance across all owned and paid touch points (website, social media etc.).
* Your efforts will be aided by best in class monitoring tools including Sprinklr, Adobe Analytics, BrightEdge and Domo to name a few.

* The ability to tell a story through data on a given topic.

* Experience of managing original research at a global level.
* Constantly looking for new relevant sources of insight
* A clear and logical thinker and communicator.
* Precise writing and an understanding of the contribution of design to the consumption of reports.
* Finding creative ideas to refresh the offer and innovate.
* Being a "go to" for particular lines of enquiry or requests for additional data and insight.
* Assisting other team members within the Intelligence & Reporting team when resource allows.
* You will be working within a team of perfectionists, every detail matters.

Skills and attributes required for success

* A deep interest in and experience of marketing performance data e.g. campaigns, social media, websites and sponsorship.
* Full understanding of the various tools available to us (Sprinklr, Adobe Analytics and similar)
* Competent with Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote to present work.
* Highly responsive and proactive.
* A deep interest in human behaviour.
* Naturally earns respect from the team and the trust of senior management
* Curious and interested in the client brand and the foundations of the work itself - how each project and conversation/question contributes to the bigger picture and why each project is important to our clients.
* Intelligent and intuitive approach to client comms. A strong, instinctive capability to 'read the room' and to confidently and effectively communicate across multiple stakeholders.
* A calm and confident approach to highly-paced projects when required, along with a sensible perspective on changeable and 'fluid' briefs.
* Exceptional team player - derives satisfaction from the whole team succeeding.
* Keen and accurate proofing skills, takes responsibility for the quality of your work.
* Experience with time-sheet and project management software - we use Harvest and Monday.com primarily. Jira and Confluence are also used on client side.
Advantageous: French - written and/or spoken.
