An Independent fast growing FinTech PR Agency are looking for a Senior Account Manager to support the Account Director as part of their growing team and manage a portfolio of key accounts. Read on to find out more….

DNA Recruit are working with an independent Fintech PR Agency who specialise in financial technology and its application to transform global financial markets. This is a rapidly growing sector with big plans and we are looking to find an ambitious, hardworking Senior Account Manager to contribute in taking these plans to the next level. The Senior Account Manager will support the Account Director in client account planning and will then be

responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the client deliverables. As a Senior Account Manager (SAM) you will be a competent PR practitioner and client handler, able to manage a portfolio of our key accounts. You will be responsible for managing the delivery of the work in progress on your accounts. You will deliver work yourself, providing client advisory, and manage the rest of the account team to deliver the WIP, within the given retainer.

The Senior Account Manager (SAM)will liaise regularly with the Account Director to ensure the WIP is meeting client requirements. You will be working towards a position as Account Director, and on smaller accounts, you will start to take responsibility for setting strategy, and managing the growth of the account. In addition, you will be developing your commercial skills and will support the growth and development of the agency by contributing to new business, marketing, and HR goals.

Is this you?

  • Credible PR experience gained working agency-side
  • Strong management skills and ability to organise account teams and client work
  • Consultant mindset with excellent self-drive and a flexible, enquiring approach to challenges
  • Experience with fintech clients, or related financial or technology clients
  • Strong existing relationships across your sector, and an ability to build effective relationships
  • Demonstrable experience in mentoring or coaching colleagues
  • Quality focused with a sharp eye for detail
  • Exceptional writing skills and ability to proof own and others' work
  • Time focused and able to drive teams to meet deadlines
  • Specific knowledge of how to deploy social and creative channels effectively

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be encouraged to develop your strategic skills as you work towards a position as Account Director. You will also be given opportunities to develop a broad range of business skills from marketing and new business generation to HR support and training, commercial awareness and financial reporting to IT and digital PR. In time, you may select one or two stronger areas that you wish to pursue.

Salary: £45K-£55K
