Senior Account Manager - Corporate Events - London

Summary

Are you an experienced and polished professional Senior Account Manager with skills in corporate venue sales, looking to work for one of London's most iconic event spaces? If so, this role is for you!

DNA Recruit is working with a leading global business, highly reputable for their corporate and private venue hires at some of London's most iconic attractions and historical venues, who is now seeking to employ a highly skilled Senior Account Manager. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience within both corporate and private venue sales, with the ability to liaise with clientele at all levels whilst delivering and executing a top grade service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming enquires and convert them to sales, inline with budget.
  • Undertake site visits for potential events, using face to face sales skills to convert the enquiry.
  • Process all invoices.
  • Proactively develop new enquiries, including exclusive buy outs.
  • Develop a marketing plan to support sales.
  • Take full ownership of the department and deliver on the budget.
  • Provide full administration to all bookings, including up-selling F&B.
  • Arrange FAM trips, hospitality events and client / agency visits to further promote the venue.
  • Ensure all conversion rates and updated sales & marketing activity / results are submitted at month end and monitored.
  • Use sales techniques and closing sales skills on the telephone and face to face at meetings and site visits to gain confirmed sales.
  • Maintain regular contact with past clients and enquiries, and agents, to gain more enquiries and confirmations from these clients.
  • Produce weekly time-phased, qualified reports for the department, based on achievements and activities.
  • Provide a weekly schedule of planned activities. (Summary report).
  • Maintain accurate records of all contacts and conversations with clients. (Sales report and summary reports).
  • Handle correspondence related to all selling activities. (quotations, emails, confirmations).
  • Manage the team's activities so all past client, past enquiries and proactive activities are achieved on a weekly basis.
  • Plan diary accordingly to ensure effective use of working day (individual and team diaries).
  • Ensure safe working area and work procedures in line with Company's Health and Safety Policy.

The Person…

Our client is looking for a target focused Senior Account Manager with 4+ years experience specifically dealing with sales of London event spaces, for both corporates and individuals, which could include, but is not limited to;

  • Special occasions (proposals, birthdays, etc)
  • Team building events
  • Team incentives
  • Corporate campaigns

The skills and experience we are looking for are:

  • Good sales track record in account management, where proof is provided of previous/current event space sales.
  • Excellent people and relationship building skills to enable to work closely with the Department, your staff, suppliers and of course, clients.
  • Well organised, taking pride in attention to detail when it comes to all administration such as, quotations, reporting, budgeting and invoices.
  • Being the face of this iconic landmark, articulate communication skills paired with a highly professional demeanor will be of utmost importance.
