Senior Account Manager - Conferences & Exhibitions - South Africa
Salary: (ZAR) R40,000 Plus Benefits Plus Commission

DNA Recruit is working with a leading Global Exhibitions and Conference organiser who are looking to recruit an exceptional Senior Account Manager, to grow a network of accounts and new business prospects through selling event, media and digital products.

If you have solid experience in Conferences and Exhibitions with a strong consultative sales approach, understanding a clients objectives and creating bespoke solutions, then we want to hear from you!

This is an incredible organisation which is a leading global conference, events and media business offering a remote working opportunity for someone based in South Africa, ideally within Cape Town due to logistics of events happening in and around the Mother City. The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for generating and securing exhibition and conference revenues in line with the portfolio needs and personal targets, producing quality proposals, generating new business whilst maintaining existing accounts. You will have the opportunity to travel internationally as part of this role.

Main Responsibilities:
Generating new business and managing key accounts providing a truly consultative, strategic and needs based selling solutions for a variety of clients across the conference and exhibitions market. Achieving revenue targets by responding to inbound queries self-generated leads based on market and product understanding. Reporting accurate forecasting and performance metrics and keeping on track with reports using the CRM system to ensure all transactions and date are constantly updated.

The Person…
A solid background in Conference and Exhibition sales with the ability to connect with senior level stakeholders will be essential in order to be successful in this role. In this environment a charismatic, confident and professional demeanour will be excellent traits to have, in order to develop and maintain lasting business relationships. A team player who can be flexible and is comfortable with ambiguity, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, clients and staff at all levels.
