Are you a highly experienced Senior Account Manager who has extensive venue sales experience or knowledge of the conference & exhibitions sector? If so, this could be the perfect role for you!

DNA Recruit are working with an amazing Events Venue, who are looking to recruit a highly experienced Senior Account Manager to join their talented team. The responsibilities will be to proactively generate new corporate business and bid opportunities, and to develop existing corporate and third-party agency accounts, by identifying and closing profitable business for the venue. You will effectively manage and develop existing clients to ensure high levels of repeat business and account growth. Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and service and effectively and professionally manage client relationships from initial enquiry to post event.

The Person…

• Proven sales record within the events industry at a senior level
• Commercial awareness - understanding and challenging the impact of sales decisions across the business
• Results and customer focused
• Ability to sell the venue and it's services to achieve high yield business
• Advanced negotiation skills
• Outstanding presentation skills - ability to present confidently to large groups
• Influencing and persuading - ability to engage others in the benefits of the venue and the city of London.
• Highly effective communication skills - both written and verbal (ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff within the business and externally)
• Business knowledge - advanced knowledge of the business and a comprehensive understanding of its competitors and their strengths and weaknesses both within the UK and internationally
• Consultative sales skills - ability to consult with clients during the sales process to maximise revenues and exceed client expectations
• High command of lead qualification techniques and processes
• Proficient user of the full Microsoft Office suite, experience using databases to manage accounts
• Highly numerate

Salary: £55k
