DNA Recruit are currently working with an international global events group who work with clients in over 30 countries who work with businesses and professionals in specialists markets and provide the connections, intelligence and opportunities that help their customers grow.

Reporting to the Sales Operations Director, the Sales Operations Team Leader's main responsibility is to lead the team who supports a business unit sales team, who are selling across different regions, multiple brands and customers. A pivotal new function within the group, sales operations provide structures sales administration, CRM support (Salesforce) data analysis, reporting and data entry support to the sales teams. They will be working closely with the regional CRM team to support the set up and management of sales activities within Salesforce, and liaising with relevant business unit sales leaders. Some of the role's responsibilities include :

  • Management of a 4 people team (UK & abroad)
  • Deliver the onboarding and Salesforce training strategy for new starters to ensure best practice utilisation of Salesforce and other business tools. Measure ongoing compliance, troubleshoot where necessary, and provide refresher training
  • Sales Operations activities and ensuring timely processing of sales contracts in Salesforce (CRM) and associated Sales order processing tools (ESOP, ASOP, ISOP).
  • Observing usage of the CRM and keeping Sales leadership informed of team performance and issues.
  • Works with the regional CRM team to communicate enhancements in Salesforce to the Sales teams.
  • Providing feedback to the CRM team, and issues to continually improve the Salesforce platform and to act as a liaison between Sales Ops, Sales Management, Brand, Finance, and the CRM teams.
  • Supporting the forecasting process for Sales teams and Senior Management, attending budget presentations and strategy meetings, and providing standardised and adhoc sales performance reporting to Sales Ops and Sales leadership and data and recommendations for target/quota setting.

Is it you?

The Sales Operations Team Leader must have a minimum of 5+ years experience within a similar role, and proven financial analytical skills, ideally gained within a commercial environment, and outstanding eye for detail. You are able to multitask, prioritise and adapt quickly to a changing environment and a proven ability to work under pressure. You are well organised, good time management, confident personality, a high level of enthusiasm and strong communications skills to be able to support remote teams. You must have experience in people management, and working with Salesforce, and preferably experience in the B2B/B2C events industry, and in similar floor planning tools such as Expocad, A2Z.

Salary: £40K-£45K plus benefits
