DNA Recruit are working with one of London's oldest tailors who provide ceremonial robes and services for universities.


Reporting to the Head of Client and Contracts Management, the Sales Manager's responsibility will be to maintain and grow the business's share of the UK graduation service market and design and deliver successful strategies for client retention and new client acquisition. Your role will be to engage with the graduation contract key decision makers in institutions to persuasively present/communicate our client's USPs and to listen and learn from their priorities.


The Sales Manager will be responsible for contract and tender management and will work alongside and communicate with key team members of the business to ensure that client retention and new client acquisition strategy and sales activity is achieved. You will work with the Bid Writer to ensure proposals (technically and commercially) are aligned with your sales strategy and messaging and collaborate with social media/web team to ensure marketing messages and interaction align with your sales strategy and messaging. The Sales Manager will work alongside IT and senior management to help with the introduction of improved client management software within the business helping identify and maintain records of client / potential client key decision makers in relation to graduation services. You will assist in the preparation of monthly and seasonal KPI reports on delivery of sales strategy including leads generated, meetings with clients, market intelligence, digital campaign outcomes as well as attending planning, review and operational meetings when required. You will also be required to attend ceremonies nationwide, alongside the client managers and grad service teams, so that you can fully understand the client/customer's expectations and services offered.

Is it you?
The Sales Manager must have a proven track record of creating and delivering sales campaigns, with a minimum of four years experience and must have experience of both B2B and B2C markets and varied business cultures and sectors including SME. As Sales Manager you have excellent customer service which enables you to engage and balance the needs of your customers with the needs of the business when making decisions. You are an excellent team player and communicator who demonstrates sound judgement when dealing with confidential information. You are able to take ownership for the delivery of department plans, service levels and overall results and actively supports innovation and change and positively influencing those less convenience of the opportunities.


Salary: £55K to £65K dependent on experience plus bonus (£10K) & benefits.
