This opportunity will be leading a hugely successful portfolio that has ambitious and accelerated growth plans in the UK and Internationally and this role will play a vital part in this. You will oversee a large team of events professionals to deliver an exceptional experience and this role offers a career defining moment to change a portfolio that is already hugely established and successful, to become truly world leading.
The role…
The successful candidate will have responsibility for the overall design, delivery and commercial success of large scale key events, whilst delivering an exceptional experience for all attendees and clients. Delivering a 3 year growth plan, accelerating revenue growth and increasing operating profits will be the main objective, in order to be successful in this role, as well as building key stakeholder relationships at a senior level. Driving change to look at how technology can make lives better and change the world, so a passion for new technologies and ensuring that you are up to date with latest tech and industry trends, will be key, whilst attending multiple face to face meetings, developing senior internal and external stakeholder relationships and being a key player in the market.
Is it you?…
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering large scale, multi track global events with strong commercial awareness. You will be driven to forge key existing client relationships but with a talent for developing new potential opportunities for the business, to drive the implementation and delivery of their ambitious growth plan. This role will need someone with big ambition and strategic vision, someone who is a proactive and flexible collaborator, who relishes an entrepreneurial approach to their work. You will need to come with long standing experience within a Director level role, managing a high performing team and have the knowledge, experience and skill to grow a leading event portfolio and take it to new heights.
