Lead UX - Brand Experience Agency - London

Lead UX designer who loves complexity and can combine detailed research with applied services design thinking, to help drive significant business transformation for a digital agency in London.


DNA Recruit are working with a leading brand experience agency, which is partnered with some of the world's biggest blue chips to help them innovate, scale, and transform.


As Lead UX will be joining a team of other UX designers, visual designers, motion designers, and copywriters within the Experience Design Department, and have the opportunity of working on a variety of global brands, across a diverse range of platforms, products, and services. Your responsibilities are for experiences for websites and apps, as well as digital experiences in physical spaces.

Core responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day running of key UX initiatives with one of the agency's largest clients, including managing the roll out of new customer experience frameworks, omnichannel approaches to marketing, and specific design projects for digital channels
  • Be a master of your craft in all UX practices and a trusted subject matter expert for each client you work with, leveraging user research and data to back up decisions
  • Lead customer-centric thinking from research into design and champion appropriate workshop, co-creation, and testing approaches to solve problems
  • Drive innovation - brave enough to explore new ways of thinking, and balance this against client constraints to find the best way forward
  • Play a key role within the agency's Experience Design department and help to mentor junior members of the UX team
  • Work directly with our UX Director and other team leads to establish new UX initiatives to continuously improve the agency's offering


Is this you?

  • 5+ years experience working in a professional UX or service setting.
  • Experience with usability, testing and research (qualitative and/or quantitative).
  • Proven experience in crafting user experiences across a range of projects.
  • Experience working with Healthcare or Pharmaceutical is preferred.


You must have the ability to collaborate hands-on to produce best-in-class deliverables, including wireframes, user journeys, presentations and prototypes, drive to always bring new thinking to the table to improve every designed experience, and have confident communication skills, with a natural ability to present, articulate and effectively communicate design decisions.

Salary: circa £85K + excellent benefits package
