Lead DevOps Engineer - Digital Agency - London

Job description

Are you a passionate and proactive DevOps Lead with extensive Linux/Windows infrastructure experience? Our client, a Total Experience agency, is seeking a collaborative team player to lead DevOps projects and workstreams for in-house and external clients.

In this role, the successful candidate will lead DevOps projects and workstreams supporting a wide range of in-house and external client systems. They will have a passion for technology, innovation, and ever-evolving software design and development principles.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience of building, operating, and maintaining Linux/Windows infrastructure with a high degree of automation.
  • Experience with Linux, Continuous Integration tools (e.g., Jenkins), Puppet/Ansible or other configuration management, and Public/Private Cloud-based Infrastructure (AWS).
  • Experience with Apache WWW and/or NGINX server and Tomcat, Common Internet Protocols (SMTP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, SMTP), and Source Control Systems (Git).
  • Experience with Unix shell scripting (Bash), Containerization (e.g., Docker), and Orchestration engines (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Experience with MySQL system administration, Jenkins Job Builder/Code as Pipeline, Build tools like Maven&Gradle, and Puppet/Ansible or other configuration management.

  • Stash, Git, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence.
  • Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Apache WWW or NGINX server and Tomcat.
  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript [ES6+].
  • React, Vue.js, Gulp, Node, .Net, Java/Spring/Hibernate.
  • JSON based API's, OAuth2/OpenID Connect.
  • Drupal, Jahia, AEM, Sitecore.
