Head of Sales - Global Content Agency - London

Our client is a global digital oriented content brand publisher, based in London who thrive in the digital landscape through sharp content, editorial planning, innovative social media posts, beautiful photos, and interesting videos through strategic SEO and SEM plans. With their Headquarters in London, and offices in São Paulo, New York and Jakarta.

They are after a high performing Head of Sales where your previous experience must show developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales targets individually, you will successfully lead a team of sales executives to do the same. Reporting directly to the CEO, and acting as a senior manager as well as line manager the Account Managers within the agency, you will be responsible for reporting on performance vs targets and proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.


  • Own and hit/exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Partner with potential clients to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate the company offering through proposals and presentations
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
  • Maintain an effective understanding of the industry landscapes and trends
  • Report on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts

Is it you?

As Head of Sales with 10+ years' relevant sales experience, with demonstrable experience of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth you have an ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-level. Your experience of leading sales teams to meet and exceed their targets is second to none.

  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • Strong skills with MS Excel (analysing spreadsheets and charts) and experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • University degree, MBA or equivalent
  • Track record of winning £1 million clients

Salary: up to £100k + bonus; OTE for this role would be over £150k
