Head of Sales - Events - London/Surrey/Milton Keynes
Salary: £40-60k

DNA Recruit are working with an incredible event catering and large-scale events business which is offering a truly unique opportunity for a tenacious, passionate and resilient Head of Sales who has the experience to grow a sales team, implement sales processes and customer service journeys, as well as sell a wide range of events packages and services ranging from bespoke, high-end weddings of 700 guests to corporate large scale Christmas parties.

This is a phenomenal opportunity for someone to work across two brands and have the full support of the company to grow your own sales team within a £15M turnover business, which sees some of the UK's most glamourous, fun, out of this world events and experiences!

At least for the first 6 months the Head of Sales will need to be office based, however with 3 office locations to choose from this shouldn't be of too much concern with offices in Surrey, Central London and Buckinghamshire to choose from.

Main Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for sales of event packages, of all different sizes, budgets and locations whilst building a sales team in order to support the sales function. Experience in implementing sales processes, customer service journeys, contributing creative ideas to marketing and understanding event demographics within certain Regions will be essential.

You will grow and maximise sales, encompassing all aspects of Corporate and consumer channels through driving new business channels into the group, as well as nurture and develop current existing client base, whilst proactively targeting new clients. Grow and maximise prebooked Sales, encompassing all aspects of corporate and consumer channels. This includes, ticket sales, drinks packages, mixed group table bookings and liaising with the in-house production company to arrange AV upgrade packages.

Working with external Agencies you will need to handle all inbound complex inquiries as well as manage relationships with the relevant parties within the agencies, as well as create innovative, eye-catching marketing and sales ideas in order to bring in new business. New business development is a crucial aspect of this position and thus having a good, solid network within Events would be preferred.

We are looking for someone who is a self-motivated, commercially savvy and target driven professional, experienced in new business development and lead generation, and passionate about the events market.
Arrange and conduct client meetings, attend networking events and as well as organise and execute Showcase events ensuring attendance of key customers such as Event Bookers and Corporate Clients.
