The Head of Retail Shopper & eCommerce Strategist will join the Strategy, Research and Technology (SRT) team to help consult and develop effective strategies for their clients to solve business problems and inspire their innovative creative solutions, future proofing their brand and driving strategy and innovation. The Head of Retail Shooper's role will be to produce impactful presentations that are visually stimulating and easy to read and hit the mark, and be involved from the idea inception, right through to final implementation and beyond and ensure it delivers the agreed strategy and present strategies to clients, partner agencies (when required) and multi-disciplinary agency teams in a compelling and persuasive way to ensure understanding, buy in and gain alignment. Some other responsibilities include: .

  • Develop effective brand strategies across multiple deliverables including: positioning, architecture, innovation and communications
  • Brief creative teams and help them understand how different and emerging channels can work to enhance the work
  • Provide senior strategic input into new business activity, pitches and agency initiatives as required
  • Work with clients to fully understand their markets, target audiences and performance of their communications strategies

Is this you?

The Head of Retail Shopper and eCommerce Strategy must have a minimum of 7 years experience of innovation, shopper and retail strategy and a solid knowledge of eCommerce, the "digital shelf", innovation and data strategies. You bring with you excellent written skills, which allows you to translate insights into compelling propositions and strategies, and must be able to work well under pressure, is exceptionally well organised and is a self starter. You have FMCG experience, expert knowledge of brand activation, retail, shopper marketing, experiential, social, partnerships and promotions, and an expert in understanding consumer attitudes, motivations and behaviours. You bring with you expert knowledge of a range of techniques used to evaluate insights, strategy and communications concepts and in market performance and must have current knowledge of how businesses, brands and communications connect with and influence people, and knowledge of media (old and new) channels, understand how they work, interrelate and can be best used in an integrated way.

Salary: £120K plus bonus & benefits
