DNA Recruit are working with an exciting Global Communication Agency to find their next Head of Marketing and New Business for the Consultancy division of their very joined up omnichannel offering. The agency is driven by ideas, fuelled by data, and powered by technology and they work with some of the largest and most admired brands in the world, and are driven by a desire to collaborate and work in teams to create ideas that drive brands forward. As such their hard work and success over the last two years alone have decorated them in nearly 100 awards.

As Head of Marketing and New Business your main role is as primary contact point for marketing and new business activities, managing inbound new business opportunities and working with the team and turning it into opportunities for the business. Your day to day will responsibilities will include:

  • Design and manage the marketing plan for this business consultancy arm which is focused around brand and business transformation
  • Define related PR, Awards, Website, Social etc in coordination with the Head of Brand
  • Define related events, client/prospecting campaigns and relationship management activities in coordination with the Head of Relationships
  • Promote and sell technical consulting services (with support from a New Business Executive) with a hands-on involvement in new business/prospecting activities; (networking events, cold-calling campaigns etc.)
  • Identify target clients/prospects and explore existing client base for opportunities to up-sell additional service lines
  • Support the design and management of the new business strategy as well as campaigns/approaches to develop sales opportunities; ensure the CRM database is being used effectively across the agency

Is it you?

The ideal candidate would have a mixture of sales and marketing experience in a consulting environment. It would be a bonus if they had an understanding of technology and data.

A minimum of 5 - 10 years experience.

Salary: £75K dependent on experience, but could go to £90K for the right candidate
