DNA Recruit are excited to be partnered with a Global Digital Agency who help their clients embrace technology changes and work across communications, brand design, customer experience, and customer relationships, and to connect more meaningfully with their customers in an ever changing world of consumer's media behaviours and technology habits.

As Group Strategy Director you will be working across their Sydney and Melbourne offices with MDs to drive their strategic product of the offices forwards and delivery the best work in the market. Your role will be to inspire and develop their strategic teams in Australia, mentoring and coaching them to be the best strategists they can be. The Group Strategy Director will be one of partnership with creative, media, marketing science, production and client services to create innovative strategies and groundbreaking output.

Is it you?

If you want to be a Group Strategy Director within this global digital agency based in Sydney you must have at least 9+ years experience in strategic thinking and leadership, as well as a proven track record of defining and delivering strategic leadership across an agency and clients and have built and inspired a team and a proven record of successfully leading clients into new strategic areas. You also have and bring with you the following skills and experience:

  • Confident knowledge with research methodologies, brand and marketing models
  • Innately curious, has an insight into human behaviour, and an instinct for popular culture
  • Able to work across different groups and disciplines to push work forward
  • Clear with a broad range of approached for building brands, including advertising, social media, CRM, search, innovation, and media and connections planning
  • A deep experience of creating strategy that transforms categories and businesses
  • Ability to use brand strategy to inform product strategy, design and experience

The following experience would be a bonus:

  • A true digital thinker, but have a diverse knowledge of strategic principles.
  • A student of web3 and the journey to the metaverse.
  • With a breadth of experience across disciplines including media, CRM, innovation, social media, brand strategy and product.
  • You haven't always worked in the advertising industry.

Salary: AUS $200K plus excellent relocation package and sponsorship if required
