Event Producer - Sporting Events- London
Salary: £45k

DNA Recruit is working with a globally respected sporting events agency with work that WOWS sports fans around the world, who is looking to bring onboard an experienced Event Producer to play a key role within any major event project, working directly with clients to deliver seamless events. The Event Producer will lead on delivering entertaining and engaging multi-platform events for an established roster of prestigious domestic and international clients.
Main Responsibilities:
As Event Producer you will be responsible for managing planning, production & delivery of several major events, working with sub-contractors on the technical build, briefing and creating AV content, booking talent, managing teams and the execution of award-winning sports pres and fan engagement programmes.
The Event Producer will act as the most senior company representative, taking the creative/production briefs from clients and implementing them at each event. During pre-production, the Event Producer will be responsible for scripting, establishing running orders and schedules, and will work closely with the TSPC internal team, and other appointed agencies and sport directors. During event time, the Event Producer will guide the show caller - cueing all elements and taking responsibility for scripting and cueing of commentary and announcements during the sporting event and any award/trophy/medal ceremonies.
You will need to ensure H&S protocols are adhered to at each venue, manage teams at the venue and ensure that their safety is of utmost importance.
The person..
The perfect candidate will have had excellent relevant experience in delivering I.O.C. level sports competitions (or held an equivalent TV, Event Production, Brand Activation position) and be able to articulate what they think makes a great event. They would also be a regular, active fan or participant in at least ONE sport, with a deeper understanding of its context and culture.
A minimum of four years active experience in sports, music, live TV and/or festivals is required , being a self-starter, with initiative, creativity, team management skills and a meticulous eye for detail plus a good knowledge of the sports eco-system.
Apart from your technical abilities, you will need to be an excellent communicator, be financial savvy when working with budgets and be able to inspire a team of people to excel in their work.
