DNA Recruit is working with a reputable Event Catering business with an incredible reputation for their large scale greenfield events, pop-up gourmet kitchens and iconic events who is looking to add a passionate, experienced and enthusiastic Event Manager to their team in Oxfordshire. This Event Operations Manager will take full production lead and accountability on 2 major events annually as well as assist on smaller events in between with the goal to expand more Internationally. This is an incredible opportunity to be part of a scaling business and work on some of the most iconic and memorable events within the UK!

Main Responsibilities:
Perform an event leadership role across all event functions by providing direction and motivation to all teams, as well as managing and setting project timelines and milestones, ensuring projects remains on target.

Work alongside Head Chef to develop menus and plan the operational delivery of menus, as well as working closely with Logistical team to ensure smooth running of event from kitchen plans to vehicle movements, drinks to disposal.

Fully control and accountability for the overall budget of individual events working alongside Finance Department and Head of Events for ongoing management of the budgets, including forecasting, tracking spend.

Involvement in the pre-planning of events essential

The Person…
Significant understanding and experience in large scale event catering for outdoor events, festivals and pop up restaurants will be vital in this role, as well as having the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders at every level.

The ideal person will be commercially savvy, understand event logistics, operations and finance as well as have an eye for detail, and lead staff with a mentorship approach.
